It's on dot com now as well. Anyone know if he's any good? I don't really pay much attention to Euro leagues. Good that the areas that needed strengthening are being addressed.

A good shot stopper and pretty good at saving penalties. Does make a few mistakes, like trying to kick the ball from a pass back, ended up kicking fresh air and the ball ended up in his goal.

Jack Wilshire has come out and said he will be leaving. Been told that by Emery that if he stays his playing time will be significantly reduced.

If you see the way that his previous teams have harried and closed down I am not sure that Jack has the defensive mobility that will be required., Perhaps this is Emery's thinking he would rather sacrifice a bit going forward to ensure a tighter defence.

He was very promising as a 17 year old but hasn't really got much better. He should have 500 more games and a hell of a lot more experience by now. The injuries robbed him of that. He's only really got the experience of a 19 year old in a injury prone 26 year olds body.

Do not argue with an idiot they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Will Leno be our new No.1 Goalie or will he be No.2 to Cech at least for this coming season? Does this mean Ospina will be leaving this summer? I would rather Ospina was our No.1 so when he takes a goal kick we can shout Ospinaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Time will tell if any of the signings are good but at least Emery is making moves .

We should have gotten rid of Ozil when we had the chance.

Last night was my first watch of this Torriera chap. He looked a smart little player who would be a sensible addition to The Arsenal team. I don't think we've had one in his mould for a while now.

All this talk of getting rid of Ozil is crazy, particularly when we're just looking like taking a more solid defensive approach. We NEED to keep him.

Ozil was castigated for his performance but he made more chances for his team than any other single player in any one match this tournament. He is perceived as lazy but often covers more yards than other midfielders in a match.

A rabbit in a greyhound race covers yards. Not very effective though.

Time and time again Ozil has let the team down.
No way I'd have given him a new contract.

Arsenal have signed Sokratis Popastathopoulos. It will cost a fortune to have his name on the back of your shirt

And by the time a commentator says his name the ball will be at the other end of the pitch! We'll have to settle for "the Greek bloke" or something.

It speaks volumes of Wenger's mismanagement that the first three signings are defensive.

Reports say that Torrreira and Matteo Guendouzi are having a medical today. Guendouzi is a 19 year old Frenchman who -plays in Midfield for Lorient and is one for the future.

Another striker is coming in, 16 year old Sam Greenwood from Sunderland. Highly rated apparently.

They said that about Cesc , if he's good enough he will get in . Emery seems to be shaping a whole new squad with a different style . This season has taken on more interest than the last six years of tedium. All places are up for grabs, we only have two squad members not at pre season . He's having a good look at the one ones to keep and the ones to go.
