Arsenal v BATE Borisov the new official next match thread

The great Golden Phoenix has passed the baton to yours truly and what a gem of a game we have to start with.
The mighty Belarus champs and most successful football team of all time in that country visit the Emirates for the last round of matches in the group stages.
They can qualify if they win and the other match ends in a draw.
That's about as exciting as it gets.
Will we play the under 15s ,will we see Walcott play his last game for us in Europe.
Should the gates be left open and make it a freebie for anyone who's bothered.
Does it matter ,will anyone read this, can we survive.
Only time will tell.
“ Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack. A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith, for Thomas, charging through the midfield. Thomas, it's up for grabs now! Thomas! ”

Well I have read it, just as I have read the previous ones too. It's just that as I am no longer able to go to matches I have tended to let games creep up on me rather than anticipate what is likely to happen.

In the words of joni Mitchell " you don't know what you've got till it's gone "
"Never be deceived that the rich will permit you to vote away their wealth."

It would be foolish to think otherwise

I`m giving this one a miss because the excitement may be too much for me. I forecast a crowd of about 25,000.
